Resident Leadership Program

The 15-month program is a full life leadership development program designed for students out of college looking for leadership and real work experience in the ministry or non-profit sectors.
The goals are to build spiritually mature leaders ready to immediately make an impact on the church and the world. This isn’t just ministry training. It’s a comprehensive Christian leadership that integrates faith with work, relationships, and purpose, preparing you to lead with depth and impact wherever God calls you. The program is designed to help residents find their longer-term career goals.

PROGRAM DETAILS
  • 15 month program from June 1st 2026 – August 30th 2027
  • Throughout the full 15 months, you’ll experience:
  • Classroom curriculum designed to help you evolve in your faith, your professionalism, and your vocation
  • Practical teaching of core skills for of ministry / nonprofit entity (budgets, marketing, volunteers, events, fundraising, facilities, etc)
  • Mentorship program from a variety of leaders customized for each resident
    Spiritual rhythms and disciplines weekly calendar
  • Choice of a primary track and long term career focus:
  • Foundation (months 1-3): Gain exposure to all ministries to learn and discern your focus (students, children, adults, worship, etc) plus a comprehensive orientation to St. Andrew culture, theology and ministry philosophy
  • Specialization (months 4-14): 12 months hands on experience in your chosen areas with increasing ownership and responsibility over time
  • Integration & Launch (months 13-14): Coaching to think about your next step with job search support to transition to the next phase of your career
  • Additional components of the program to support the full life leadership aspect:
  • Cohort community life with other residents through planned activity and support
  • Outreach opportunities to young adults in the community to grow & nurture the young adults program at St. Andrew
  • Final “capstone” style project to showcase learning and work during your time in residency
