LEARN| Friends of Dementia | March 6 | 10:00am to 12:00pm | Piro Hall | Free with a lunch option | Join The Second Act as Friends of Dementia help us understand the five key messages about dementia and how it effects people and how everyone can make a difference in the lives of those living with this chronic condition. SOCIAL | Happy Hour at Katy Trail Ice House | March 13 | Katy Trail Ice House, Plano | 4:30pm to 6:30pm | Meet up with friends and those new to St. Andrew for this casual happy hour. Each person will be responsible for their own tabs and are welcome to stay for dinner. This is an excellent opportunity to mingle and enjoy time together. REGISTER HERE
SERVE | Storehouse Serve Days | Seven Loaves, March 18 | The Academy, March 22 | The Second Act has 15 spots reserved for the AM prep session on March 18 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Seven Loaves. We also have 20 teaching assistant spots reserved for The Academy session on March 22 from 7:30a.m. until 12:00pm. Please register by March 3 as the Storehouse will release open spots to the general public. To volunteer at the Storehouse REGISTER HERE

This is a fantastic opportunity to meet Second Act liaisons from service organizations and learn how you can get involved in volunteering efforts that make a real impact. The Second Act is heading to the Titanic Exhibit for an immersive experience that lets you step inside stunning recreations of the ship’s iconic interiors. We have reserved tables at the spacious Batter’s Eye Club, in center field, and each ticket includes $25.00 food or merchandise credit to use that evening. LEARN & WORSHIP | Holocaust Museum |May 15 |300 N. Houston, Dallas | Time TBD | Cost TBD | Join The Second Act for a profound visit to the Holocaust Museum in Dallas. Through powerful stories and exhibits, we’ll honor the resilience, courage, and survival of those who endured one of history’s darkest chapters. Join The Second Act on a unique 10-day journey tracing John Wesley’s steps across historic England. This immersive tour will guide you through key sites that shaped Wesley’s life, ministry, and the foundation of the Methodist movement. Experience a step into history, walk in faith and fellowship, learn, and renew your spirit on a journey through John Wesley’s life.

SAVE THE DATE | “TEXAS” PALO DURO CANYON | June 13-14 | The Texas Panhandle
Enjoy an overnight road trip to majestic Palo Duro Canyon to see “Texas,” the nation’s most spectacular outdoor musical drama. You will be spellbound from the opening scene of a lone horseman atop a 600-foot cliff to a cast of 60 actors, singers, and dancers bringing to life the stories, struggles, and triumphs of the settlers of the Texas Panhandle in the 1800s. On the way home, visit the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum, the largest history museum in Texas—details to follow in April.
