The Second Act is heading to the Titanic Exhibit for an immersive experience that lets you step inside stunning recreations of the ship’s iconic interiors. Join The Second Act for a profound visit to the Holocaust Museum in Dallas. Through powerful stories and exhibits, we’ll honor the resilience, courage, and survival of those who endured one of history’s darkest chapters. This experience will remind us that memory preserves history, and the lessons of the past can inspire us today. Those interested can join lunch at a nearby restaurant. Free with a lunch option for $15 | Step into the chilling world of Erik Larson’s Devil in the White City, where Holly Steven’s will share the grandeur of the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair is overshadowed by the terrifying crimes of H.H. Holmes, one of America’s first serial killers. In this gripping book talk, Holly will explore the shocking, true story of how Holmes used the Fair as cover for his grisly murders, revealing a dark side of history few know. REGISTER

Enjoy an overnight road trip to Palo Duro Canyon. On the way, stop for a no-host lunch at The Loft at Picker’s, an American Southern Cuisine restaurant in downtown Wichita Falls located above Pickers Universe Antique Mall. That evening arrive at the Pioneer Amphitheater in majestic Palo Duro Canyon to see “Texas,” the most spectacular outdoor musical drama in the nation. Start with a Back of the House Tour and Buffet dinner. Then be spellbound from the opening scene of a lone horseman atop a 600-foot cliff to a cast of 60 actors, singers and dancers bringing to life the stories, struggles and triumphs of the settlers of the Texas Panhandle in the 1800s. The next morning, we’ll start home and stop in Amarillo for a no-host lunch at world-famous The Big Texan – home of the 72oz steak.  On the road to Plano,  we’ll be inspired by Groom’s 190 foot cross and life size bronze statues of The Last Supper and Stations of the Cross.
