Summer Snacks – Let’s help keep our students happy and feeling at home by filling their bellies. Click here to sign up to keep our space stocked with snacks. Individually wrapped snacks and single serve drinks only.
Sunday Morning Programming – during the 9:30 hour, come worship with students and then lead them in small group discussions about the morning’s message. Content will be provided for you. Email Melissa to get started.
Pancakes – every 2nd Sunday, we make pancakes for the students. Come cook and serve with us from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m.! All materials are provided. Sign up here to get started.
Donuts – every other Sunday, we provide donuts for the students. Pick up the preordered donuts from J’s (6405 W. Parker Rd). Sign up here to get started.
Confirmation – for every Confirmation class, we have parents lead small group discussions for the students. Email Melissa if you are interested in getting started with the next Confirmation class.
Sunday Morning Welcome – help us sign in our students each Sunday, as well as welcome all new attendees. Greet them and capture their info on Sundays from 9:00 – 9:45 a.m. Email Melissa if you are interested in getting started.
412 – our Middle School students come back on Sunday evenings for fun and programming. Help with supper, welcome, set up, small groups, or clean up. Email Melissa if you are interested in getting started.
Lighthouse – our High School students go to various homes on Sunday evenings for deeper discussions and community building. Help by hosting in your home or helping to lead. Email Melissa if you are interested in learning more.
Lunch Bunch – each Wednesday during the school year, we serve students from Plano West during off-campus lunch. Help cook and serve these students, many of whom are visiting St. Andrew for the first time. Email Brian if you are interested in learning more.
Home Days – each Wednesday, we open the Students space and gyms from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. for any student to come, eat pizza, play in the gyms, and hang out. Come run around with the students and build relationships in an unstructured setting. Email Day’Quann if you are interested in learning more.
Life Groups – every student has the opportunity to meet with a small group of students divided by grade and gender and led by an adult each week to build community in a small group setting. Email Melissa if you are interested in learning more about leading a life group.
Special Events – several times throughout the year, there are a variety of stand-alone events ranging from Christmas parties to Worship Nights and everything in between. Help decorate, set up, feed the students, or clean up. Email Melissa to learn more.
Trips and Retreats – every Students trip, from retreats to Mission Trip to Camp Impact, needs a large number of adult volunteers in a variety of capacities. Email Melissa to learn more.
Leadership Councils
Student Leadership Council – This council will provide feedback, planning, and preparations for Student’s events. They are both a guiding group and an active planning group. These students provide insight into student perspectives as well as leadership in action through both service and outreach. Email your interest form to Melissa.
Parent Leadership Council – This council will provide guidance and insight from an outside perspective. As liaisons between parents and staff, the council members help provide feedback on current and future plans. Additionally, they help student staff with access to relevant calendars and additional scheduling information. Email Melissa to learn more.
